Camillus Hospital Ministers Needed

Inspired by St. Camillus de Lellis (1550-1614), the patron saint of nurses, hospitals, and the sick, our Camillus ministers are specially trained lay volunteers who work alongside hospital chaplains at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

These dedicated ministers provide spiritual support to Catholic children and their families, offering the healing presence of Christ through the Eucharist, prayer, and compassionate listening. This ministry is both uplifting and deeply fulfilling.

Training & Requirements:

• Completion of a Hospital Ministry course
• Shadowing an experienced Camillus minister
• Meeting the requirements of Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Archdiocese of Seattle
